Im a 13 year old boy. Yes I created this website all by myself. I love to wrestle, it is my passion. I enjoy beating up on people but not in a bad way. I have been wrestling for four years now. My first year I was not bad and I really liked it so I came back next year and I did okay, not spectacular. Last year is when I really started hitting it off I got a lot bettter last year and now here I am a 3x state placer, 3x Regional champ, MMWA state champ and Viper Pit National Champ. I wrestle four days a week and wrestle every weekend.
Some people at my club ask me how did you get to where you are now or do you ever lose. Well yes I lose almost everyone loses. But I got to where I am today because wrestling is my favorite thin to do. I wrestle four or five days a week and wrestle in tournaments every weekend. To be good you need mat time. You also have to wrestle people better than you or at least wrestle good matches to push you. You can't always wrestle kids you always destroy or else you will start making stupid mistakes because you will start getting sloppy. A good wrestler will take advantage of your mistake and stick you. To be a good wrestler you need these things: endurance, technique, speed, strength and losses. To obtain endurance, everyday that you can run long distances at a medium pace. Start of with shorter distances and gradually make the distaces longer. Like for an example start off with a mile and make it a mile and a half and so on. You must not stop for breaks, keep going, push yourself. Now, to be technical you have to drill your moves a numerous amount of times like 100 times or more. The purpose of drilling the same move 100 times is to perfect it. Doing the move 100 times incorrectly will not help at all, you must not get sloppy. Once you have perfected a move you will understand it and know how to execute it so therefore you will be able to do your move fast and correct. Many people believe you have to lift 100's of pounds to be strong, well they're wrong. All that will do is stunt your growth. All you have to do is do is push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups and lunges. You can use dumbells while doing lunges. When you are doing lunges just hold them in your hands. Try the differnet amounts of weight in each hand to get better balance. The purpose of holding dumbells is for resistance, you dont lift them when you are doing your lunges, you just let your arms hang down. What I mean by losses is that when you are losing you need something to motivate you to win. And when you are losing you don't remember those matches where you pinned the kid in 5 seconds, you remember your close matches and your losses. Your losses motivate you because no one likes losing. Now don't take this the wrong way and go off losing your matches. Always wrestle to the best of your ability.
i I don't just wrestle, I played football for a junior varsity team in Brighton 2009-2010. We just recently won the WSJFL superbowl. I play cornerback on defense and running back on offense. I'm more like a blocking back because I'm more aggressive. I love to hit people, so I like defense better. This year i play on the varsity team. we have obtaind some new kids that are just beasts and we shouod win the superbowl again. Just because I created this website you probably think I know a lot about computers, well I don't. In 6th grade I got a computer education class, so I learned a ton about computers. The main reason for this website is to persuade more people to wrestle and educate wrestlers with great techniques and ideas.
